Shifting Sands: December 2011

Our year is complete

It's been more than a year now and the photographic documentation of the beach is complete. We're putting together a slideshow and book that will be ready soon. We hope you've enjoyed taking the journey along with us. We'll continue to photograph the beach as long as we're here. Check back for updates.

This blog is the brainchild of Lisa Briggs. After three years of being fascinated by the ever-changing beach in front of our house we thought we'd document and share how it evolves from day to day throughout the year.

We'll take a picture of the beach from roughly the same location almost every day for year and document how the shoreline changes.

We hope you enjoy the journey with us.
